Kat Tankersley is a DFW area photographer and a military spouse for 18 years. She works as the primary event planners for DFW Portraits for Heroes. Together with her husband, Scott, they work to help make this event a success each year.

How can you help?

  • We do our best to keep expenses down each year but there are some we can't avoid. You can make a donation to help cover costs. Some of our costs include printing marketing materials, website costs annually and domain costs. These costs are currently given by the photographers who participate.
  • We are also looking for assistance in making this event an official non profit event recognized by the state. If you know someone who can help us knock that out, send them our way! :)
  • If your business would like to offer discounted services or other opportunities for the event or for our heroes, let us know and we will list them here.
